A Day at the MoCA

A few months ago, I found out that the punk-inspired Michael Clark Dance Company was going to be doing a performance at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.  SO EXCITING! Of course I had to wear a slightly punk-inspired outfit to attend, so I pulled on my favorite Dr. Martens and a baby-doll dress perfect for a fall day.

It was a fantastic show – sensual and weird and the costumes were so fashion-inspired and odd in the best way.  I couldn’t recommend it more highly.  Plus dance is such an intense art, the first performance included makeup intended to sweat off the dancers in streams down their faces.  It was so perfect.
